Try This! Wild Exercises for Adventurous Travelers

My friend, Julia Cross, a brilliant dancer, demonstrates how to get exercise in flight.  What fitness program would make it possible for the rest of us?!  Happy Holidays and safe travels!

pushing vigorously against the seat back that just got reclined onto your nose is a good one

also, isometric pushes against the other elbows on the elbow rests is very effective for increasing upper body strength

for flexibility, drop your pen onto the floor, and give yourself an entire hour to attempt to bend in such a way that you can pick it up

reaching behind your back to poke the knee that is hitting your tail bone through the thin seat back is great for spinal flexibility
